In it’s final meeting of 2013 the Orange County Board of Supervisor’s approved a new Memorandum of Understanding with it’s managers. County managers have been without a contract for two years. Under the agreement the managers will have to start paying their employee share of pension contributions.

Zombie CEO? Tom Mauk gets some breathing room

On Friday afternoon the Orange County Board of Supervisors met in closed session to discuss the fate of County CEO Tom Mauk. No decision was reached and while he continues to hold the reins of power, Mauk is more of a Zombie CEO than an effective force in the Hall of Administration.
