By the Fourth of July holiday, word was out that the members of the Association of Orange County Deputy Sheriff’s had approved a tentative agreement with the County of Orange after more than two years at the negotiating table. The two year agreement has deputies ramping up towards paying their share of pension contributions over the next two years.

On WednesdayJanuary 20th the members of the Association of Orange County Deputy Sheriff’s voted on their new contract. Approximately half of the union membership, 886 members, participated in the ratification vote. The results were overwhelming.
Yesterday, The Association of Orange County Deputy Sheriff’s (AOCDS) announced that they had reached a tentative agreement on a new contract. The details of that agreement have been released today.
