Victory Against Censorship in Santa Ana

A vicious attempt to censor and silence Santa Ana residents was defeated last night as Art Pedroza was removed as a moderator on the Santa Ana Citizens Yahoogroups. The Yahoogroups owner made it HERE. official It all began earlier this week when I posted a link to my Liberal OC post on El Sol Academy. What followed were personal attacks by Orange Juice bloggers Sean Mill and Art Pedroza, who have been stalking myself and other Liberal OC bloggers for over a year now. You can read their attacks HERE and HERE. I was not allowed to let them go unanswered and moved to defend myself with this comment:

Independence Day Library Event Ruined by One Bigot

For many years, the 4th of July has not had a formal celebration in Santa Ana, and I believe this was a great idea for Mr. Bella to put together. Many of the organizers were set to be honored last night before the City Council, but that was put to a stop after two Councilmembers, Claudia Alvarez and Sal Tinajero threatened to walk out. Do as I say, Not as I do

With our friends at the Orange Juice blog content to make stuff up, I’m again compelled to set some facts straight. Blogger Sean Mill, easily our most loyal reader, sent an email recently to the County Board of Supervisors complaining about Chris Prevatt “blogging” during the business day on county time while Chris is working for the County’s Health Department. I obtained a copy of Sean’s email; Sean wonders how Prevatt can post blog topics while he’s a work. That’s actually easy to explain as WordPress allows us to schedule posts.

FactChecking recent OJ Posts on the Settlement Offer and Lawsuit

I had some high hopes that when Vern Nelson took over as editor of the Orange Juice blog he’d make an effort to make sure that some of the posts had a measure of accuracy. And I also hoped to win the $266 million lottery Tuesday, and I didn’t so I’m not surprised by multiple errors and misrepresentations in three recent OJ posts about our pending lawsuit against Art Pedroza and the Orange Juice Blog.
