UCI Grads “Zot” up HOPE from Obama’s Address

And today’s Congress, though, is full of folks who stubbornly and automatically reject the scientific evidence about climate change. They will tell you it is a hoax, or a fad. One member of Congress actually says the world is cooling. There was one member of Congress who mentioned a theory involving “dinosaur flatulence” – which I won’t get into.

Loretta Sanchez wants troops out of Afghanistan now, not in two years

“Our troops have been in Afghanistan for over ten years. They have fought, they have protected and they have trained. Despite thousands of lives and billions of dollars, the situation is not changing. Our soldiers are tired and it’s time for them to come home. Staying until 2016 will not tip the scales in Afghanistan. It’s time to end this war and bring our troops home.”

Christmas Message from President and Mrs. Obama

In this week’s address, President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama wished everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. They also thanked our brave troops and their families for their service and sacrifice, and reminded everyone to visit JoiningForces.gov to find ways to give back to our military families this year.

Diplomacy is a concept lost on Rep. Ed Royce

The agreement reached this past weekend between the west and Iran sets a six month time-table and a stepping stone towards a peaceful resolution. But Congressman Ed Royce, Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, does not think it’s time to negotiate.
