Drinking Liberally Tonight in Santa Ana

It’s been a while since I’ve posted a reminder about our regular Thursday gathering of liberals in Santa Ana. But since this is the last Drinking Liberally gathering before Thanksgiving (we only drink liberally at home with family on Thanksgiving evening). But tonight provides a special opportunity.

It’s that time of year again where I get the distinct pleasure of reminding my LiberalOC colleague, Managing Editor Dan Chmielewski, that he is older than me. Even if only by two and a half months I am always conscious during our frequent debates, over how liberal or conservative we should be, that I should respect my elders. I rarely pay attention to that rule, except for on his birthday.

John Hanna Fundraiser This Evening

Just wanted to remind everyone that Rancho Santiago Community College Board Member and my good friend John Hanna is holding his fundraiser tonight from 5:00PM to 8:00 PM at Memphis at the Santora in the Artist’s Village of Santa Ana. I encourage all of you readers to attend.

LiberalOC reaches the 5000 post mark

Today we have reached the 5000 post mark for our almost four-year old blog. April 26th marks our fourth birthday. For four years we have brought liberal perspective to the orange county blogosphere. We have challenged the right-wing republicans, and we have even taken issue with some democrats. With 732,000 visits and about 1.38 million page views to date, we look forward to many more years of Challenging the Right-Wing Noise Machine.
