The Costa Mesa City Employees’ Association (CMCEA) is deeply saddened by the recent loss of one its members. Huy Pham, a 29-year old maintenance worker for the City of Costa Mesa, was tragically killed as a result of a suicide on March 17, 2011 when he jumped off the roof of City Hall shortly before 3:30 p.m. Pham was employed with the city for four and a half years before his death, and is remembered by many of his colleagues as a hard-working and talented employee who always had a smile on his face.
