Choi to Run for Mayor in Irvine

Termed out Irvine City Council member Dr. Steven Choi is a candidate for mayor in the 2012 election and it brings up all sorts of fun to look forward to in the coming election cycle. A post Thanksgiving party at Hidden Valley in Irvine was the scene of a thank you party for supporters of Beth Krom’s candidacy for CD-48. The party was very well attended and had the air of a campaign event.  Many of those in attendance believe in Beth Krom and her record as a public servant. …

On Election Day and Beyond: Now What?

Being witness to Democracy in Action is a privilege and an honor. I have had that privilege for the past five elections. Besides the Presidential Election, this past Tuesday, November 2, 2010, was truly different in many ways. I wanted to begin this with how I ended a very long but wonderful day. After I concluded my duties as Elections Coordinator for Area 47C (covering Laguna Niguel),
