Orange County’s Democratic Party (DPOC) closed the first half of the year with just $353 in the bank after $19,552 in expenditures. Those figures provided the back-drop to an impeachment vote targeting the DPOC Treasurer Reggie Mundekis.

On Monday night, the Democratic Party of Orange County installed Long Beach City Councilwoman Gerrie Schipske as their new Executive Director. Schipske comes to the DPOC with a terriffic background of work in democratic politics. Schipske has a long history of working with the community of organized labor.
