There has been some speculation regarding the possibility of Fullerton Councilmember Sharon Quirk running for the Assembly seat vacated by Mike “Spanky” Duvall. I contacted Council Member Quirk and asked her if she would be running. No, she’s not running. That leaves John MacMurray as the only Democrat currently in the race.
