Last night the Democratic Party of Orange County (DPOC) passed a resolution endorsing an eight-district plan for the Anaheim City Council. The resolution was the product of the work of the local Democratic Party’s Resolution Committee which was adopted by the Executive Board two weeks ago and sent to the Party Central Committee for consideration Tuesday evening.

Updated with complete list of Municipal Endorsements. On Monday the Democratic Party of Orange County decided on their Municipal endorsements for the 2012 General Election.
The Democratic Party of Orange County will consider endorsements in municipal races for the November 6th elections. The party will be endorsing candidates running for Mayor, City Council, School Board, Community College Districts and Water Districts.
Whatever you do today, don’t let the projections of record low voter turnout discourage you from voting. The top-two primary election is extremely important. The decisions made today by less than 30% of registered voters will decide your choices in November for legislative elections.
