It’s Halloween, so for our annual Trick or Treat, we present our picks for the scariest bloggers in the OC blogsphere with tongue firmly planted in cheek. Let us know if there’s anyone we missed. Bloggers 10. Claudio Gallegos, The LiberalOC — from disrupting the NUFF forum to insisting that if he saw Miguel…
These developers want to continue to have a carte blanche with money that should be used for our streets, parks and public safety, not to enrich a bunch of South Orange County developers and trash barons. They know if Amezcua is elected, he will turn this city back over to the residents and they cannot have that. Spread the word and know these hit pieces are untrue and nothing more than a move of desperation by developers who want to screw the residents of Santa Ana.
Campaign finance statements came out yesterday for the Santa Ana city candidates, in which all of them turned it in except for Sal Tinajero, as my co-blogger pointed out. The one I was curious to check out was the Mayoral statements, primarily for Alfredo Amezcua and Miguel Pulido. You can review Pulido’s statement HERE and Amezcua’s statement HERE.
Lucille Kring finally hit the mailboxes yesterday, but it was not even an introductory mailer, it was a hit piece on Lou Correa. I am working on getting ahold of the piece. That tells you something about the state of her finances when she has to start off hitting Lou immediately. Well the pro-Correa forces have struck back with www.idontlovelucy.com.
Either way, this man is not the friend of the Latino community and his vote in 2007 shows he would sell immigrants and immigrants rights activists down the river in a heartbeat. His actions united Latino politicos from the left and the right alike, as you can see from viewing the videos HERE, with testimonials from Lou Correa, Jose Solorio and Alexandria Coronado, a team-up you are likely to never see again. Make your choices wisely this November and do NOT vote for Thomas “Hoagy” Holguin, he is not a friend of the Latino community.
Pulido is allegedly the the endorsed candidate of the Democratic Party as decided by the party insiders who gush over Miguel more than a 14 year old girl at a Justin Bieber concert. I think they should finally hold him accountable and call on Miguel to re-iterate his support for keeping the 34th SD in Democratic Party hands.
On November 2nd, I truly hope the people of Santa Ana have a revolution at the ballot booth and boot Pulido from office. Then, and only then, will many of the South County and Hills Democrats open their eyes and see for themselves the real Pulido, a man more concerned with the perks of office and impressing his buddies in South County and The Hills than taking care of the people he was entrusted to care for.
