Last weekend Orange County Supervisor John Moorlach claimed in a OC Register editorial (here) that the County is again on the verge of bankruptcy. Not this time according to County Auditor-Controller David Sundstrom.

When faced with the opportunity to dump his defined-benefit pension plan Mr. Moorlach is more Chicken Little than Pension Reform Advocate. To date, he won’t say what he doing. His opportunity to opt-out of the plan expires one month after taking his oath of office
