I would like to take this time to congratulate Mayor Miguel Pulido on his outstanding victory. Despite being exposed as a politician ripping off taxpayers, selling your vote to the highest bidder, taking every taxpayer funded perk on the planet and running a huge pay to play scheme by funneling money through a Democratic Party PAC, voters still gave you a mandate to rule the city. As a Santa Ana voter and taxpayer I have some recommendations for your 9th term as Mayor.

This last Sunday I was contacted by a person who was doing polling for political races. This one focused on Santa Ana, particularly the Mayor’s race. The person began by going over a list of names and organizations and wanted to know if I Approved (Strongly or Somewhat), Disapproved (Strongly or Somewhat) or No Opinion.

From day one, I had a feeling someone other than Alfredo Amezcua and Mayor Miguel Pulido would throw their hat into the ring for Mayor of Santa Ana despite having virtually no chance. That has happened, with Charles Hart, a resident of the Riverview neighborhood.
