Today, Obama for America released a new television advertisement titled “Number One” that highlights Mitt Romney’s failed economic record as Governor of Massachusetts. As governor, Mitt Romney added $2.6 billion to the state’s debt, leaving Massachusetts more than $18 billion in debt and number one in per person debt of any state in the country.
In this week’s address, President Obama paid tribute to our men and women in uniform who have died in service to our country. The President also reaffirmed our nation’s dedication to serving our veterans as well as they have served us, and thanked our men and women in uniform for their unwavering commitment to the United States.

As Mitt Romney and his “Big Oil” allies continue to launch false and straw men attacks that have been repeatedly debunked by independent fact checkers, Obama for America today released a new ad titled “Swiss Bank Account” that highlights Mitt Romney’s belief that a strong economy is built on outsourcing, loopholes and risky financial deals.
Thinking about the state of leadership in the country right now I recalled this thought from Sergio Marchionne, CEO of Fiat and the Chrysler Group: “…. Leadership is not a quantitative thing…people either smell it in you or they don’t…People need to trust you that you’re going to pull them out and they will follow you when you pull them out. If they don’t get that comfort, they’re going to drop you.
