AOCDS President Wayne Quint, Jr. announced he will be retiring from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department to begin a new career in state government. With this announcement, Wayne resigned as President of the Association and Board of Directors.

It’s over! The ill advised and costly lawsuit initiated by the County of Orange against the Association of Orange County Deputy Sheriff’s to reverse retroactive pension benefit increases had been appealed to the California Supreme Court. That request for review was denied.
