Last night, the Anaheim Union High School District Trustees appointed Al Jabbar to fill the vacancy on the district board created when Jordan Brandman assumed office as a member of the Anaheim City Council.
“America is a first class country where we can have the best of everything,” stated Lindsey Bui, a Bolsa Grande High School student, who wondered, “Why can’t we have the best education?”
Either way, this man is not the friend of the Latino community and his vote in 2007 shows he would sell immigrants and immigrants rights activists down the river in a heartbeat. His actions united Latino politicos from the left and the right alike, as you can see from viewing the videos HERE, with testimonials from Lou Correa, Jose Solorio and Alexandria Coronado, a team-up you are likely to never see again. Make your choices wisely this November and do NOT vote for Thomas “Hoagy” Holguin, he is not a friend of the Latino community.
People wonder after the passage of SB 1070 if there has ever been a successful challenge to the Minutemen Agenda in the United States. As a matter of fact there was an instance where the community stood up and made it clear the Minutemen’s message of hate was NOT welcome in their community, their hacks were not welcome in public office and they did something about it.

From the moment I pulled into the parking lot, it was clear what a diverse crowd it was going to be, as I saw Democratic RSCCD Trustee and my good friend John Hanna walking up and Republican Orange Mayor Caroline Cavecche also arriving. To even give more of a visual at what a diverse crowd it was, GLBT activist Jeff LeTrourneau and Red County aficionado Matt Cunningham were in attendance as well.
