More than 182,000 ballots remain to be counted from yesterday’s primary election in Orange County. According to the OC Registrar of Voters website there are 166,451 vote-by-mail ballots, 11,196 provisional ballots, and 4,414 election day paper ballots remaing.

In the Fourth Supervisor’s contest, Fullerton City Councilman Shawn Nelson came out on top 12 points ahead of his closest opponent Anaheim Councilman Harry Sidhu. Councilwoman Lorri Galloway, also from Anaheim, squeezed out a third place finish by under 300 votes after trailing Buena Park Mayor Art Brown the entire evening.
