The Solorio for State Senate Campaign announced Thursday that after raising more than $300,000 during the recent June Primary time period, it will report a total of $625,211.34 cash-on-hand on its semi-annual campaign finance report which is due on July 31. Former State Assemblyman Jose Solorio is running to replace outgoing State Senator Lou Correa in the 34th State Senate District.
On Monday, Community College District trustee Jose Solorio challenged his opponent for State Senate, Supervisor Janet Nguyen, to “return contributions with connections to possible corrupt activities.” Solorio’s call for the return of contributions follows a report in OC Weekly, “Little Saigon Politicians Linked To Alleged Police-Tied Loan Sharking Operation.”

I think they should finally hold him accountable and call on Miguel to re-iterate his support for keeping the 34th SD in Democratic Party hands.

Because I am so willing to give the benefit of the doubt to Ms. Galloway, we will operate under the belief that she had nothing to do with recruiting Sue Perez.
