Water District Moves Forward On Desalination

The Orange County Water District Board of Directors voted 9-1 to enter into formal negotiations with Poseidon Water to secure the single largest source of new water in Orange County – 56,000 acre-feet annually of water from the proposed seawater desalination project in Huntington Beach.

Walking 5 Miles in Solidarity With Ferguson

On Saturday Morning, more than 20 people from the Orange County NAACP, The Orange County LULAC Foundation, and the Democratic Party of Orange County joined together for a #MilesForMichael March and Rally. Starting at the LULAC offices in Garden Grove, the demonstrators walked the five miles to the Anaheim Police Department on Harbor Blvd. in Anaheim.
