My favorite definition of a conservative is “a liberal who hasn’t figured out how to think for themselves.” And while I’m not fan of the blog Little Green Footballs, but the blog’s main writer, Charles Johnson, has had a change of heart. Mind you, he’s not liberal, but is willing to engage in debates on policy. As a nation, we need to move beyond the politics of personal destruction and hate to a battle of ideas.
Congresswomen Loretta Sanchez posts an elegant Christmas Card this year which pokes fun at disgraced former Congressman Tom DeLay’s injury-shortened run on Dancing With The Stars this past season. The two were friends as teenagers and studied together at Stanford University. They live in New York.

California Governor Arnold Scwarzenegger appears to owe tens of thousands of dollars in back taxes according to documents filed in LA Superior Court. In all, the Governator owes nearly $80,000. See the court filings here.
