DGI Picnic Features Candidates Running Against Mimi

Balloon Ride at The Great Park Irvine

The Democrats of Greater Irvine’s Summer picnic features all the Democrats running to challenge Mimi Walters for Congress in 2018.  Bugt seriously candidates, how about a challenge to Steven Choi in AD-68 or Don Wagner as Mayor of Five Point, California.

Here’s the note from DGI:

We are excited to announce that the theme of our annual club picnic will be a “meet the candidates picnic” with congressional and local candidates from California’s 45th district.

Please join us on Sunday, August 20 at Bill Barber Memorial Park in Irvine from 2-4pm, with our specific spot in the park to be announced. (RSVP on Facebook here!) We have all the Democratic candidates from district 45 confirmed to attend our picnic, including Brian Forde, Kia Hamadanchy, David Min, Katie Porter, Eric Rywalski, and Ron Varasteh. We’ll also be joined by candidates for local office, and picnic attendees will have an opportunity to meet and chat with all candidates attending over free food and refreshments provided by our club.

Also, please consider joining DGI’s neighborhood organizing team this Saturday, August 12 from 10am – 2pm for our team’s weekly canvassing meeting!
