Dead Tree Edition of Register Endorses Chang in SD29 over…Sukhee Kang. Hello Newman Indeed

The Sunday print edition of the Orange County Register has endorsed State Rep. Ling Ling Chang for SD29’s State Senate seat.  That’s not a surprise giving the Paper’s conservative leanings, but you have to wonder when this endorsement was written.

The Register endorsed Chang over former Irvine Mayor Sukhee Kang, and not June Primary runner up Josh Newman.

It’s not a simple typo either.  There’s a few sentences about Kang’s Korean ancestry and his business experience.

More disappointing is the Register’s editorial team ignoring Chang’s not truthful education background that they’d hang a Democrat for.  I wonder if this editorial was written in May and not September.  Perhaps the Opinion Desk needs to spend some time driving around OC to see what signs are up?

You won’t find the endorsement online, but my print edition has the gaffe that someone on the opinion desk needs to be admonished for the mistake.  It’s also further evidence of the awful-since-the-primary campaign the Newman for Senate campaign has run. Aside from a few endorsement announcements and a lengthy multi-part Q&A in OC Daily, the Newman camp has been quiet while Chang is pushing for assistance to homeless veterans.

It’s high time for Newman to step out of the bear suit and campaign with vigor.  This blog sees little evidence of it.

Someone thinks Newman has a shot. In the last 2 weeks, the Democratic Party has directed around $200,000 his way.

I’d love to know a single policy position he’s for; no announcements in that direction and nothing on his website.

Henry, it is with good authority that I warn you:

It has been reported to Orange PD that you “took” Paul’s 2004 truck in a dispute over drug profits, dumping the 12 year old Toyota in a Santa Ana alley. The “lowjack” details support this contention. As do the “unprescribed” XANAX bars recovered but not reported in Paul’s popular accounts.

Given Pauls recent threats of violence, criminal history, hatred of law enforcement I would expect a close eye on your condo, vehicle and being.

As for you Henry, it might be an opportune time to go the way of Casper the ghost. Unless of course there is NO WAY for your IP ADDRESS to be traced back to Paul’s apartment…..get rid of the guns and the pills!

        Pretty sure Henry is Paul

Jeez, what an unimaginative response to “Good Samaritan’s” detailed flight of fancy.

            Well, you can confirm it

Vern, I read that your (wifes) lawyer, Matthew Pappas got popped for herion possesion last week.

I can’t wait to see your (wifes) campaigns response to this police “overreach”, “abuse”.

Does Donna realize how badly she is being maniplated for political gain?

That is incredibly embarrassing for the OC Register. Unfortunately, the readers of such (old people) will vote accordingly.

    That is shameful.

Anyone else notice that Paul resembles that ugly dog he brings to party meetings?

I received my first Josh Newman mailer today. It touts his “ARMEDFORCES2WORKFORCE” tagline.

I am openly questioning his contribution to Vets. I have NO confidence he will be any better in veterans issues than Ling Ling Chang.

Josh Newman’s veterans organization is a scam.

    5, 10, 12 Twelve vets n two two years.

    Maybe Ling Ling is Better?

Josh Newman. Just another liberal voice in a state hell bent on providing all things to all people. That is of course, unless you are an actual worker. Or God forbid, if you are successful. Then you need to be punished and have your money redistributed to those the Democrats deem worthy. Wake up California!
