In New York, you can be a new man…

That’s a line from “Hamilton” on Broadway. but it totally works in this case as former OC Register reporter Steven Lynch has been named the new editor-in-chief of the New York Post, one of the nation’s largest daily newspapers founded by Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, largely to anonymously slander his political enemies.  Steve wrote for the Register in the late 1990s and left for the big Apple about 15 years ago (I think).

The Wrap has the details and you can see it here.

Steve is a smart and talented editor; had the pleasure of getting to know him when my wife was a personal technology writer for the Register.  He’s been the Sunday editor at the Post for years and is a smart hire for the paper.

We wish Steve every success.
