The State of the Union

President Barack Obama delivers 2013 State of the Union address to Congress

In case the coverage in Big Bear distracted you from the State of the Union, it was an ambitious speech by President Obama with a call for a national pre-school program to help kids get off to a better start, a new call for manufacturing excellence to help restore the middle class economy, and a call to protect the nation’s cybersecurity infrastructure by making it a national security issue.  Hackers today can do more damage with a few keystrokes than the Iraqi Republican Guard could during the first Gulf War.

Here’s a transcript of the president’s address.

For the Republican response by Senator Marco Rubio, the same old tired ideas were pitched.  But did thirsty Rubio’s sip of water make him a candidate for the latest Internet meme?  Here’s a transcript of what he had to say.  Paul Ryan drank so much water during his debate with Biden, even I had to use the men’s room.  Liars get thirsty, what can I say?

For the truly bat$hit crazy Tea Baggers out there, here’s Senator Rand Paul’s response to the State of the Union.

    From the Left:
    Impeach Obama: A National Imperative
    By: Stephen Lendman

“Law Professor Francis Boyle is unequivocal. He told Progressive Radio News Hour listeners he should be impeached. He urged House Republicans to do so.”
“He’s offering his services pro bono. On December 9, Boyle spoke at the Puerto Rican Summit Conference on Human Rights.”

In “international legal terms,” said Boyle, “the United States government” is guilty of “serial wars of aggression, crimes against peace, crimes against humanity, and war crimes that are legally akin to those perpetrated by the former Nazi regime in Germany.”
“He institutionalized tyranny. He’s a war criminal multiple times over. He’s guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors.”
“He menaces humanity. He’s heading America for WW III. He wants America’s social contract destroyed. He wants millions impoverished, unemployed, left hungry and homeless. He’s beholden to powerful monied interests that own him.”

    {(This NOT a tea-Party or conservative source; this is from the Left)}
Law Professor Francis Boyle sites the United Nations Charter, – the US Army Field Manual (FM) 27-10 – The Law of Land Warfare, – The Nuremberg Charter, Judgment, and Principles, – And other UN resolutions to make his case for the impeachment of President Barack Hussein Obama.
Again this is not from the Tea-Party, or any conservative organization. The Left is calling for Obama’s Impeachment. This Left wing source is saying that:
“He’s beholden to powerful monied interests that own him.”

FYI…. Another “left-wing” source, Counterpunch Magazine, published a scathing attack on Obama’s depravity in the Feb. 12, 2013 edition. The article, written by Norman Pollack, Michigan State University Professor is called “The Blood Spat President” includes the following, (“Blood Spat: all that is left, where once stood a fellow human being, when struck by a drone missle.”)
So, its about time that some have faced up to the reality that LaRouche told you about in April, 2009. Just admit you were wrong about Obama, as these others have, and you will be forgiven, and welcomed back to the fold of those fighting for a decent future for ALL HUMAN BEINGS On G-D’s EARTH.
Try it….. you’ll like it!!! Gerald Pechenuk,

You are entitled to your opinion, and so am I.

I know you may be tempted to get Obama to send a drone after the people that took this poll, but nonetheless, you should be informed THE HEAT IS ON YOU, BROTHER!!!
To Wit: The Huffington Post conducted a poll that showed national sentiment for impeachment of Obama having now reached 35% overall, with 66% among Republicans, 34% among independents, and 16% for Democrats!!

After setting forth a long list of proposals for the next fours years, all of which imply the absence of extensive and deep-seated problems that would paralyze Americans citizens with overwhelming despair and hopelessness, the individual whose livelihood depends on banishing these fears from the public consciousness expressed confidence in the American people and their ability to build a better and stronger nation.

“Each of us is moving toward a brighter and stronger future, and, more importantly, each of us is moving there together,” the man concluded to applause from colleagues who are likewise tasked with concealing the horrible uncertainties at the core of the nation. “If we keep moving in the same direction, as one nation united in a vision of progress and purpose, the state of our nation will only continue to grow stronger.”

“God bless you, and God bless America,” the man who knows it is too late added.

Biofuels: An Impeachable ‘Crime against Humanity’

Even The UN’s FAO Wants To End Obama’s Biofuels Mandates
Aug. 15, 2012 (EIRNS)— José Graziano da Silva, director general of the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), is urging the United States to immediately suspend its biofuels mandates for gasoline to help avert a worldwide food crisis.

Currently, 40% of the U.S. corn harvest goes to ethanol production. Corn for ethanol raises the Global price of corn; this results in more malnutrition and starvation for the world’s poor. Ethanol kills in the short-term. Developing nations purchase corn on the Global market for food, – this results in less money for economic development. Ethanol kills in the long-term.

NET ENERGY LOSS — BIOFUELS Aren’t Even Green

“Turning plants such as corn, soybeans and sunflowers into fuel uses much more energy than the resulting ethanol or biodiesel generates, according to a new Cornell University and University of California-Berkeley study.

“In terms of energy output compared with energy input for ethanol production, the study found that: — corn requires 29 percent more fossil energy than the fuel produced; — switch grass requires 45 percent more fossil energy than the fuel produced; and — wood biomass requires 57 percent more fossil energy than the fuel produced.”

“In terms of energy output compared with the energy input for biodiesel production, the study found that: — soybean plants require 27 percent more fossil energy than the fuel produced, and — sunflower plants require 118 percent more fossil energy than the fuel produced.”

    Robert & Gerald.

Are both of you aware that aluminum foil can be purchased in bulk at Costco?

Just trying to help with your household finances.

      To: RHackett
      Re; Household Finances
You are barking up the wrong tree my friend. You ought to go after President Obama’s nominee for Treasury Secretary, Jack Lew. Now, there is a man who knows finances and should be a great advocate for Obama’s “chosen people,” on Wall Street and in the financial community that he just loves!!!
To wit: Lew was Citiigroup’s Chief Operating Officer for Growth Management and Alternative Investments from 2006-2008, that is running the proprietary trading at Citigroup before and during the crash!!!!!
So, where is your outrage on this FACT, BROTHER!!

Barack Hussein Obama’s attack on the world’s Food-Grade Corn:
Impeach him for ‘Crimes against Humanity’

“World’s First Genetically Engineered Biofuels Corn Threatens Contamination Of Food-Grade Corn”

Obama’s U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has ONCE AGAIN put the special interests of the biotechnology and biofuels industries above the clear risks to our nation’s food system. “The Obama Administration is well aware of the costly effects that Starlink corn contamination HAD (in 2000-2001) on farmers and the food industry, and now it is poised to REPEAT the same mistake.” (Emphasis added)

“The GE corn – known as Event 3272 – is genetically engineered to reduce the corn to ethanol costs. The corn was developed by Syngenta, the Swiss agrichemical and biotechnology firm.”

“Though this industrial corn is supposed to be used only for domestic ethanol plants, Syngenta has sought import approvals in nations to which the U.S. exports corn. These approvals are being sought because Syngenta knows that food-grade corn shipments will inevitably be contaminated with Event 3272, and hopes to thereby avoid liability for such episodes.”
It’s a 2 page article, — not recommended for members of the ‘Obama Personality Cult’.

“Hatch, Grassley Nail Lew and Obama on Financial Scams
    February 14, 2013 • 12:05AM”

“Senators Orin Hatch (R-UT) and Chuck Grassley (R-IA) burned both Jacob Lew, Obama’s choice as Treasury Secretary to replace Tim Geithner, and Obama, himself, on their hypocrisy regarding speculators and tax dodgers.”
