Dan Chmielewski Honored with Security Industry’s Global Excellence Award

Every now and then we get the opportunity to pat ourselves on the back. Today I want to give a shout-out to our Managing Editor and Co-Owner Dan Chmielewski. Last night Dan won another recognition for excellence in the public relations arena.

Dan Chmielewski, principal of Madison Alexander Public Relations, was awarded Info Security Products Guide’s 2012 Global Excellence Award as “PR Professional of the Year for the Security Industry.”  This is the agency’s fourth national technology PR award since 2010.

Madison Alexander was the 2011 PR Agency of the Year for Security Companies last year and the agency won a Network Products Guide Award for Best IT PR Campaign in 2011.  Chmielewski received a PRSA President’s Citation for contributions to the practice of public relations.  He was a 2007 Raymond Simon Institute at Utica College Outstanding Public Relations/Journalism Alumni winner in 2007 with his wife Dawn C.
