I’ve got to hand it to the Orange County Young Democrats. They know how to make there monthly meetings special. I guess it’s all in the marketing. The Facebook headline for their monthly meeting this Thursday, Occupy OCYD, caught my attention this morning.
Please join us for our October meeting this Thursday, 7:00 pm at Bistro 400 in Santa Ana. We will be discussing many important issues at this meeting including our upcoming Lake Tahoe Training and the Occupy OC movement.
Our guest speaker this month will be Westminster School Board Trustee Sergio Contreras. As a Westminster School Board Trustee since 2004, Sergio Contreras has expanded after school programs to keep kids off the streets and provided extended-day learning opportunities to help students with English and math. He has also increased access to computers and music & arts programs district-wide.
