Justice Breyer Coming to Nixon Library Next Month

Hat tip to the South County Progressive Group for this tip.  Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer will be a featured speaker at the Nixon Library in Yorba Linda nexy month.  Justice Breyer will speak on Sept. 14 at 7 PM and reservations are required.

Justice Breyer is a progressive voice in an otherwise conservative court and a breath of fresh air for those who view the Constitution as a living document.  He gave a strong dissent in the case where the Supreme Court overturned California’s law banning the sale of violent video games to children; his opinions are cited in 65 research studies published in leading  academic journals which clearly show the harmful effects of violent video games.

To reserve your seat, contact the Nixon Library at 714-983-9120.

A very interesting venue for Justice Breyer. President Nixon is probably turning over in his grave.
