Faces of Egypt through the eyes of an OC Man

Fullerton’s Drew Cornick is the son of LiberalOC friend Sunbie Harrell, who helped us at last Spring’s NUFF event on political blogging.  He contacted me last week about some extraordinary photos he took in Egypt and has extended permission for us to publish them.

Drew’s Project Uprising shows a fantastic body of work and one we should all take a moment to see.

In light of the attacks on journalists in Egypt, including the horrific attack on a CBS News reporter, Cornick’s camera shows the face of Democracy in this nation and reveals the courage of a brave young man seeking to tell a story of revolution through photography.  We are grateful that he has allowed us to share his work with our readers.

Thanks Dan, and the Lib OC team for helping me share my photos. Keep up the great work, and the good fight in Orange County, we need individuals and teams like you!
