“I feel extremely honored that the hardworking families of California’s 47th Congressional District have entrusted me to represent and fight for their priorities for another term.  I would like to commend my opponents, Assemblyman Van Tran and Cecilia Iglesias, for running hard-fought campaigns. While we may differ substantially in policy, we all want to see our community grow and thrive. Orange County is our home, and its residents are our friends and neighbors.”

“Throughout my time in office, I have always strived to be an independent voice for the families in my district. When I return to Washington, that legacy will remain unchanged. Every vote I cast, every decision I make will continue to be guided by the best interests of our community. That has been, and will always be, my promise to you and your families.”

“Over the years, I have never ceased to be amazed by the hard work, innovation, and sheer determination that defines the people of this community. That innate perseverance will be crucial as we continue the fight for good-paying jobs, affordable health care, quality schools, and a stronger middle class. Working together, we can and will make these cornerstones a reality for every single Orange County family.”

The righty I was on Cox TV with on election night tried to make the claim Loretta had no longer held the values of her working class district. Loretta’s record made it easy for me to refute this. And the voters delivered the proof.

Cheaters always win. How can anyone take her seat away when lots of non-citizens Hispanic came out and vote. Not to mention she paid hundreds and hundreds of thousands for votes. Van had so many of big supporters that Loretta was so afraid, she would go down that low to buy votes. What a voter fraud!!!! She should be put in jail!
