The CAIR-California Political Action Committee has released its list of endorsements on political candidates and ballot questions for the 2010 election.Â In addition, the CAIR-CA PAC has launched a new website to better inform American-Muslims of positions on political and government issues and candidates.Â The CAIR-CA PAC has available at their website easily printable Muslim Voter Guides, with their endorsements organized by county, for Muslim voters to take to the polls.
Â A primary goal of the organization is to provide news and information to the American-Muslim community in regards to local, state and federal issues.Â CAIR-PAC will also conduct polls, recruit volunteers and accept contributions to lobby elected officials on matters of importance to Muslim-Americans throughout California.Â The groupâ€™s new website is www.CairCaPac.org.

Â The endorsements are based on the candidatesâ€™ history and stated positions with regards to civil rights, civil liberties, education, the environment, immigration reform and health care reform.Â A review of each candidateâ€™s history and interactions with the American-Muslim community also went into account with these endorsements.
