Huh? Riverside and Corona Cop Unions Endorse Republican Ken Calvert

July 30, 2010 – Today, Representative Ken Calvert announced the endorsement of the Riverside Sheriffs’ union, the Riverside Police Officers’ union and the Corona Police Officers’ union.  Together, the unions represent nearly 4,000 law enforcement officers.

“Our law enforcement officers are the true heroes in our community and I am truly humbled to have their support in this campaign,” said Congressman Calvert.  “I look forward to my continued work with our law enforcement agencies to make sure they have everything they need to keep our communities safe.”

“Ken’s staunch commitment to public safety and law enforcement concerns, along with his devotion to community service, has made our decision an easy one,” said Pat McNamara, President of the Riverside Sheriffs’ Association.

“Congressman Calvert is a strong leader in Congress working hard for our region,” said Kevin Townsend, Riverside Police Officers’ Association Political Action Committee Chair.  “He continues to work toward securing our borders and addressing illegal immigration issues.”

“Ken Calvert is the logical and most experienced candidate for Congress,” said Jim Auck, President of the Corona Police Officers’ Association.  “His work has brought significant resources to local law enforcement agencies to enhance methamphetamine interdiction and gang enforcement.”

    (2) REINTRODUCE firewalls between securities, insurance, and lending institutions, (REINTRODUCE is the 1933 Glass-Steagall Act, and that’s

This is hilarious! Of course Calvert will never admit to UNION support, just like he will never admit to stealing from the Jurupa Park District or getting a blow job from a prostitute/addict.
