he forgot to mention how his life as a councilman if he is re-elected will be to continue to serve his tiny dark lord. everyone of them should be voted out of office.

    jose s,

Did you fail to note that Benavides pushed for Mayoral term limits during his term and campaigned AGAINST Measure D? How does that amount to “serving his tiny dark lord”?

steve, alvarez was also against mayoral term limits and look at her now. tinajero was a glimmer of hope and look at him now. didnt the whole council show up at his fundraiser for re-election for mayor????? what does that tell you? they all serve their tiny dark lord. they may come into the gig with the best of intentions but all end up bowing to the tiny dark one. pathetic. if they all gave a sh** about the future and well being of santa ana they would all come together and do their best to get him out. of course they wont because the tiny one has some sort of bizzare power over them. benavides is a hack just like the rest of them.

    jose s,

I have no idea what your point is here. Alvarez and Tinajero ended up supporting Measure D, thereby effectively supporting Pulido and (potentially) 12 more years of him. Benavides OPPOSED Measure D.

The “whole” council? No. Was Alavarez at his fundraiser? No. Is Alvarez in tight with the Mayor now? Yes. What does that tell you?

Get a clue dude…you’re overgeneralizing and overstating your case.

steve, first of all dont call me dude. secondly you say i’m overgeneralizing my case i’m not. we have a major problem in this town it’s called miguel pulido and everybody on that council that opposes him should be working to get him the hell out. benevides isnt doing that nor is anybody else for that matter. oh they all start out with the best intentions but look what happens in the end. they know they need his help to be re-elected so they bow to him. i think they should all be replaced at this point by anybody who runs against them no matter how bad they might be. it sure as hell couldnt get any worse than what we have now.
