Today, with this post, we have reached the 5000 post mark for our almost four-year old blog. April 26th is our “official” fourth birthday. For four years we have brought liberal perspective to the orange county blogosphere. We have challenged the right-wing republicans, and we have even taken issue with some democrats. With 732,000 visits and about 1.38 million page views to date, we look forward to many more years of Challenging the Right-Wing Noise Machine.
Thank you to our bloggers who have shared their views, and our visitors who have not been afraid to let us know their take on those views. We also want to give a special thanks to GOP candidate for Congress in the 47th Congressional District, Tan Nguyen. It was your campaign, particularly your vandalized campaign signs that littered central Orange County, that helped launch this blog. Thank you for returning to politics and helping us celebrate our birthday.
We will be celebrating the blog birthday, along with Bill Spaulding’s and mine during Thursday night’s Drinking Liberally event at Memphis at the Santora. See you at 8:30 pm in the Santa Ana Artists Village at 201 N. Broadway.
