Today I would like to formally announce the formation of a new Democratic Club in Orange County, which I have decided to name after the best and greatest Democrat in Orange County History. I invite you all to join the Sean H. Mill Democratic Club.
Since the recent bloggers event, I have done some serious soul searching and thought long and hard about Sean Mill’s harsh approach and I realize he wasn’t trying to insult me, he was really trying to help me see that I was not living up to my potential as a Democrat. I was not being the best Democrat. Thank you Sean for helping me see that. To honor this actions, I am naming the new Democratic Club after Sean, who really showed me the error of my ways for opposing a Democratic County Supervisor candidate who cavorted with gang members. How could I have been so wrong.
Now I am making things right and if you consider yourself a good Democrat you will join this club, or I will write post after post obsessing over why you did not come and question your dedication to being a Democrat.
Our guest speaker will be the greatest Democrat himself, Sean H. Mill, who I know will lead OC Democrats into the next decade. Because there is no better person I can think of who can organize bus trips to Nevada to help re-elect the majority leader of the Senate, Harry Reid. Wait, Sean is endorsing Reid’s REPUBLICAN opponent Danny Tarkanian?
OK fine, every Democrat supports a Republican once in their life. Well after his spirited efforts to help me see the importance of Democrats at the county level, I know he will lead the effort to get ONE Democrat elected to the Board of Supervisors. You mean he is supporting REPUBLICAN Sean Nelson? OK OK, I know he will work tirelessly to keep one Democrat elected at the county level. WHAT! You mean he is supporting REPUBLICAN Hieu Nguyen over DEMOCRAT Tom Daly?
Well, er um, WOW that does change things.
You know what, were just going to give Sean Mill a free pass and look the other way on all those things and declare him the greatest Democrat in Orange County history anyway and form the Sean H. Mill Democratic Club. Even though John Hanna and Lorri Galloway get ripped for doing the exact same thing, Sean is just all around great guy who deserves to be honored all the time. After all he writes for Orange Juice, the greatest blog in Orange County history.
So next week, please join us for the inaugural meeting of the Sean H. Mill Democratic Club. Be there, or “we’ll break your f__ken neck.â€
