Public Employee Pensions, Lies, and Audio Tape

There continues to be a great deal of criticism leveled at Public Employees regarding their pay, benefits and pensions. The criticism is largely based on false information and misleading facts. One of the biggest critics in Orange County has been the Orange County Register’s editorial writer Steve Greenhut. Mr. Greenhut has released a new book entitled “Plunder” which attacks public employees and their unions for negotiating such allegedly great salaries and benefits. 

OCEA General Manager Nick Berardino was asked to debate Steven Greenhut on National Public Radio and that discussion aired last Wednesday.
