I work as a counselor in a substance abuse treatment facility. Prop. 36, which was passed by 61% of Calif. voters, had a lot of problems & needed to be overhauled – but eliminating it completely is NOT the solution. Please support the “Dime A Drink” fee being supported by Assemblyman Jim Beall and others. So, Mr. Fox, is your wife against the democrats current tax raising plan in the legislature?

Is she against tax increases?

If she is for cuts in taxes, what government programs would she cut?

Is she against giving illegal aliens permanent status?

First, I should make my bias clear – I’m Melissa’s husband and (of course) her biggest supporter.

Second, with Melissa, what you see is what you get. She panders to no one, and is always herself.

Melissa is very much a supporter of tax cuts for the middle class and small businesses, secure borders, and our military veterans.

Melissa believes that far too much of the tax burden in California has been placed on the middle class. She also believes that tax cuts for the middle class and small businesses would provide a much needed stimulus to California’s battered economy.

She strongly believes that secure borders are necessary for our national security, and also believes that our growing legal immigrant communities are providing Orange County and all of California with tremendous new energy and vitality.

Melissa is also a strong supporter of our military veterans and their families. Her father is a Korean War combat veteran (and former police officer), and she was raised with a deep respect for the sacrifices that our veterans have made to ensure our freedom.

Tax cuts, secure borders, and a supporter of the military. Sounds like a conservative. Or is she just sounding like a conservative to get elected?
