Limbaugh, Traitor or Loyal Opponent?

Rush Limbaugh grabs attention again by stating on air “I hope he Fails” about President Obama’s  attempts to rectify the nations problems. So is this treason? Or is it simply political opposition? I wonder if most right wingers want Obama’s Administration to fail as well, so long as he drags liberalism down with him.

No one should be surprised. Limbaugh's (and all the other right wing handjobs) stopped caring about America long ago when they realized there was gold vein they could tap from their nutcase followers.

The 2006 elections showed them how much influence they still carried. Their predictable response has been to become more shrill and more vitriolic. Our own Greenhut is a local example. His criticisms of those whom he dislikes has become more intense as it has become apparent that fewer and fewer are paying attention. The CCW issue with the new sheriff is a great ploy to whip up the 2nd Ammendment wackjobs and no one else. The GOP establishment is using everything at their disposal to attack her since she did not come from their process liked the now disgraced ex-sheriff Mike Carona.

I could go on, but the point is made.

    Limbaugh isn't a traitor, just a blowhard.

I wouldn't compare Greenhut to him–Steve(with some exceptions where he tends to opine without knowing all the facts)is a farily consistent ideological libertarian who will dump on not just Democrats but Republicans as well. Limbaugh's will occasionaly attack a Republican but its almost non-stop barf bagging on the Dems. While I disagree on many occasions with Greenhut I respect his opinions. Limbaugh's opinions get no respect in my book.

I listened to the entire piece. Everyone was behind Bush after 9/11 and then he took a hard right turn. Limbaugh calling on Liberalism as they reason for the country is in the mess we're in just tells me that he's either back on drugs, dellusional or both. I'm reminded how Chuck DeVore used Limabugh's words to prop up Fred Thompson during the primary season last year. But statements like Limabugh's tell me he needs to move his show to satellite radio or submit to a little something called the Fairness Doctrine. Yes, there is free speech in this country but its still against the law to yell fire in a crowded movie theater. Limbaugh expressly saying he hopes Obama fails means America fails.
