Name Bristol Palin’s Baby: AN UPDATE — Baby Tripp is Here

 An Update:

The Baby’s name is Tripp; Uncle Track and Uncle Trigg are downright pleased about the name!

If the McCain campaign timeline is right, Bristol Palin, daughter of GOP VP candidate and Alaska governor Sarah Palin, should be popping out that kid anytime now.

Of course, it’s a happy ocassion for the family.  Everyone will come and see the new parents and the little tyke in the hospital and daddy Levi Johnson will take photos of the infant to his Mom in jail (where she was arrested on a drug charge).

Given the Palin’s Track record of baby names (know anyone else named Trig?), please submit your suggestion of the baby’s name (boy or girl) and the last name is Johnson.

Here are some suggestions we already received:

Kristalle Meth Johnson

BREAKING NEWS…it’s a boy, apparently named “Tripp”.

    Yeah, what a trip indeed.

Can you imagine the taunting every time this kid falls down?

We ought not get into naming suggestions unless we want to do the same for LInda Sanchez, US Representative. Let’s let people have significant personal events in life without attacking them. She didn’t get elected. She had her 15 minutes. She and her family deserve that respect even if you don’t like her politics.

I didn’t realize being liberal meant you were also vindictive. I hope that truly is not the case. We are all better than that. Happy New Year to you all!

Conservatives have been and still are vindictive. I am merely playing ther game based on rules established ny the right wingers. Politics is a contact sport. Everyone needs to wear a cup.

Besides, I will remind you of the viciousness directed at Chelsea Clinton when she was a teenager; I believe Rush Limbaugh put a photo of her up on his taped TV show claiming to have a photo of the new “White House Dog.”

You are correct, and it has been inappropriate on either side in the past. Politics may be a contact sport, but stooping to the depths is not a demonstration of dignity or class. Making fun at the expense of an innocent unborn child who has done nothing is a terrible transgression Mr. Chmielewski, regardless of what one’s political opposition has done. Rise above and seek to create something better. Happy New Year!

I’m not making fun of the baby at all; I am making fun at the Palin family and their record of giving children unusual names.

But by all means, sedn a note like this to Ann Coulter and see what sort of response you’d get

Your focus needs to be on the things you can control, that is your own actions. I cannot control the response, but I still want to be able to look into the mirror with respect for myself. My suggestion would be to focus on issues and move away from the personal nature that is appearing all too often in the world of blogs. Hard to be progressive when you focus on those with whom you disagree.

The Baby Daddy seems to clean up nicely, but then a trip to Neiman’s can do that for a lot of people.
