Carl — I commented on a linked story by Moxley, who is seldom wrong. He posted the original topic and the obligation of research is on him. Since I generally trust his reporting, I had no problem believing his story.

You really should do a little more research before you post it up. Just because Scott said it, isn’t cutting it for either of you. It ruins everyone’s credibility on something as stupid as this story. Sorry, but it is the truth.
Just say no to repeating unverified stories, we’ll all be better off, but I don’t always get them right either, for what it’s worth.

I have never known you to be ill tempered either…?

Actually, when I reread the Pasadena story, it’s not at all clear that Dana even dressed in drag. I’ve got an e-mail into both Moxley (who seems to have added that juicy detail) and original author Koslowski… I NEED to know if that’s true!

Dan, thanks for bringing this Dana story to my attention. If you go back to the Pasadena Weekly story there are disgusting details that Moxley didn’t even mention.

For example, why did he dress like a woman? Because he needed to have Sirhan himself request and welcome the visit, which he pulled off by pretending to be a female human rights worker, concerned with Sirhan’s treatment while being held in solitary confinement (where he’s been since 9/11 since other prisoners absurdly think he’s Al Qaeda.)

Reese said Sirhan was told the person was coming to talk about the atrocious conditions he faces in solitary confinement. “So, of course, he [Sirhan] said sure, send this person in.”

This is especially grotesque, given what we know of Dana’s sadistic delight in the abuse and torture of Arab prisoners at Guantanamo Bay.
