I was anticipating Obama’s “Change” Campaign picking someone new, fresh & exciting.

Some are likening the Obama/Biden ticket to Bush/Cheney (relative inexperience at the top of the ticket, old-pro VP).

Obama’s pick makes him look weak & inexperienced, needing an “old dog” to show him the ropes.

Worked for Bush 2x though …

This seems like a very calculated move to appeal to women voters, and especially, disappointed Hillary Clinton voters.

Does McCain really think women will simply vote based on their gender rather than the issues? Frankly that’s insulting to all American women, Republican or Democrat.

When the American public looks at Palin’s experience, and her policy positions, they will see someone who is clearly to the right of Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party.

I would love to watch Joe Biden using your talking points at the VP debate. You should be hired as his debate advisor. As a matter of fact, post a link to your resume and I’ll do what I can for ya.

Biden won’t. He’s been around the block more than a few times to know how to deal with the likes of Palin.

Here’s the point that many Palin supporters are missing. Ms. Palin’s experience in government makes Barack Obama look like George C. Marshall. She served two terms on the city council of Wasilla, Alaska, population 9,000. She served two terms as mayor. In November, 2006, she was elected governor of the state, a job she has held for a little more than 18 months. She has zero foreign policy experience, and no record on national security issues. Mr. McCain’s supporters argue that he is more serious about national security than Barack Obama. But the selection of Sarah Palin invites the question: How serious can he be if he would place such a neophyte second in line to the presidency? Barack Obama at least balanced his inexperience with Mr. Biden’s experience.

What is Mr. McCain doing?

Palin is a godsend for the Dem ticket.
