Richard Nixon Resignation SpeechAugust 8 & 9, 1974; I remember those days so well.  President Nixon resigned in disgrace amid the Watergate scandal.

At ComicCon two weeks ago, I picked up a bumper sticker: “I Never Thought I’d Miss Nixon.”  Compared with what the current administration has gotten away with, Nixon looks like a choir boy.

Seriously, who would’ve thought that Nixon would ever look like the lesser of two evils?!

Paul — too bad the Supreme Court got in the way of state courts in recount issues. Too bad Bush didn’t have the decency to follow and honor his oath of office — twice.

Cook — Nixon; brilliant in foreign policy. A moron about most everything else.

The best president in the history of the United States (my opinion) untill he thought he was above the law. He got what he deserved.
