From illegal domestic spying this Fourth of July weekend!
Tomorrow is Independence Day. This weekend, we’ll be celebrating our freedom and the founding of our republic. So really, what better time than now to take action to save our Constitutional rights?
Next week, the Senate will be considering legislation that threatens our right to privacy and gives retroactive immunity to telecom companies that aided and abetted George W. Bush in breaking the law and spying on all of us. It’s important for us to stand up now to protect our rights. So please, read this important message from DFA Chairman Jim Dean and Sen. Russ Feingold (D-WI). And please, take action!
