No one else is reporting it as an embolism though. Just sad though, So glad he was able to see his son graduate from College and got to spend time with them. They were in Italy when he died. just awful.

What a terrible loss. He was so smart and perceptive about Washington politics. How can anyone properly fill his shoes. He WAS American political reporting.

What a shock. Isn’t he survived by his beloved Dad, whom he wrote about as “Big Russ?”

No more pumpkinhead to kick around on Sundays. No seriously it’s sad. Does this blog have a sad emoticon that works? :-(

A stunning loss. “Meet the Press” was always a must see and a Sunday morning staple for more than a decade. We will miss you, Tim. Life is short and you didn’t waste one minute of it! Thank you for everything!
