Carlos Bustamante: Making Santa Ana Proud (??!!)

Oh, my! Take a look at what some LA paper overheard Santa Ana City Councilmember Carlos Bustamante saying in response to Santa Ana Police Chief Paul Walters not being chosen to become Orange County’s next Sheriff:

“I kept telling the chief,” he said, referring to Santa Ana Police Chief Paul Walters, who narrowly lost the sheriff’s job, ” ‘Maybe we should get you some implants. Or a water bra.’ “

Wow! Who knew Santa Ana’s Ward 3 would be so lucky to have such a fine council member who has such a sexist opinion of OC’s new Sheriff! You stay klassy, Carlos Bustamante!

Wow, Andrew. Of course we all love Gustavo, but he posted that yesterday morning (June 12) at 8:37 AM. Whereas, on the blog I write at, which you guys should check out sometimes, you could have seen this two days earlier:

Santa Ana council man gets something off his chest regarding new sheriff

    11:59 AM, June 10, 2008

Sounds like Santa Ana City Council member Carlos Bustamante knows why the Orange County Board of Supervisors selected Sandra Hutchens as Sheriff over Santa Ana’s own police chief, Paul Walters:

“I kept telling the chief, maybe we should get you some implants. Or a water bra.”

That’s what the Times’ Christian Berthelsen heard the council member tell a blogger after this morning’s announcement.

What a misogynist dillwad, the Space Commander. No wonder you lot can’t stand him. And of course he thought he was being real funny. How long till we see a Bustamante-with-a-bust photoshop Art or Thomas? First I need a Dana with panties on head though.
