		<description>It never made sense. I think  Dick wouldn&#039;t mind representing Irvine in the State legislature like fellow Fullerton expatriate Ross Johnson did. But neither one of these guys has the interest, desire or the necessary cultural attachment to run a retail politics campaign for local office there.  The rumor was a little goofy.

But Linda Ackerman is the early front runner for the GOP Central Committee covering the Irvine so maybe Dan should continue to follow the trail.</description>
