Gay Marriage in California will be recognized in New York State

This story in the New York Times discusses a decision by new New York Governor David Patterson who has directed state agencies there to recognize gay marriages performed elsewhere (California and Massachusetts).  How long before the rest of the nation follows suit and grants the same equal rights for adults to marry he person they love most.

For a man legally-blind, Governor Patterson sees things pretty clearly.
