Harassment Complaint and TRO Filed against Edgardo Reynoso

Filed in OC Superior Court for hearing today at 1:30 pm. A former campaign staffer for the Hoa Van Tran campaign has filed a civil harassment complaint and request for a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) naming Hoa’s campaign manager, Edgardo Reynoso, as the defendant.

Allegedly Reynoso tried to run the plaintiff off the freeway yesterday afternoon. After filing a report with the CHP, she filed the request for the TRO. This allegation comes on the heals of allegaions that Reynoso has brought gang members into the Hoa Van Tran campaign as volunteers and possibly paid staff.

The hearing on Case # 30-2008-00070564-CU-HR-CJC was held before commissioner Jane L. Shade. She ruled in favor of the plaintiff. A hearing on a permanent restraining order will be heard on June 6th.

Was that before or after she was served with legal papers naming her as the defendent?

I meant before or after Misha was served.

Given that I was in the court room I can state with absolute certainty that the plaintiff was not Misha.

Just another example of you typing without knowing what you are typing about.

I am quite aware that the person making these allegations is Courtney Rychel. I wanted to know did this incident allegedly happen before or after Misha was served?

I spoke with Misha this morning; she hasn’t been served.

Sal has told you to quit being an idiot. Listen to your mentor. You are on the wrong side. Come to the light, leave the darkside. Edgardo is a scoundrel and a bully, sticking up for him is foolish. Your friend.

Geez, Sean. Does Edgardo have to physically harm someone before you’ll stop shilling for him?

Great everyone….keep on protecting a thief…I mean Misha..who still has not returned the property she stole from the campaign…and her sidekick Courtney..who were only placed in that campaign early on to make sure Hoa’s campaign failed. I mean have you seen the piece of junk mail she created for the campaign..And please it’s a joke to hear people calling Misha, Hoa’s political director, she couldn’t even handle a schedule….wake up OC..we don’t need these people in our party..

If you would have fired Eduardo before he would have been named as ex-campaign manager.

Get this behind you, fire eduardo tommorow.

As Orange County’s leading conservative commentator, Pete Fundy believes that Hoa Van Tran should stick to his guns.

Is Pete Fundy that guy from that 70’s tv show hit, “You’re on candid camera”. Or was he that guy that starred on KDOC channel 56, the Hot Seat.

The name of the show was “Candid Camera” you doorknob, and don’t you dare take the name of Wally George in vain.

liberalocdem aka: Edgardo or Sean: If Ms. Houser is a thief, then why hasn’t Hoa filed a police report on the alleged theft? What is he waiting for? Just because you say the sky is falling, doesn’t make it so. You guys are the epitomy of Chicken Little and act like the Keysone Cops, just completely clueless and sloppy. The only people bringing down the party are the two of you.

When people start pointing to campaign workers for their failures, it shows you have no business running for traffic cop. Seriously.

All this has done is make the candidate look bad, the campaign seem corrupt and the whole circumstances a bit off.

Why would someone who gets work from DPOC steal equipment? Really? It’s just an absurd claim.

Can we get an update on this? I was wondering how Courtney’s legal actions against Edgardo are going.

These were quite serious allegations and I am sure that Courtney would want to see them thru. Seeing as how you have told the world that everything she claimed is the God’s honest truth I would be sure that she would continue to stand by these serious allegations.

I look forward to the update.

I know only what the court records say. The case was dismissed without prejudice by the plaintiff.

There are any number of reasons that could be speculated. A reason why a case is being dropped by the plaintiff is not required by law.

While I am speculating, and have not spoken to Courtney, I believe that the cost of protracted litigation became prohibitive. From what I can tell Edgardo was getting free, or significantly discouinted legal services from the firm Hoa Van Tran works for. Courtney was having to pay those fees herself, in addition to defending herself against Reynoso’s suit against her and Misha Houser.

It could also be that the TRO achieved its purpose which was to deter and prevent any further or future harassmant.

Thanks for the update. I figured since you seemed to have first hand knowledge of every allegation made that you would also know why Courtney would simply walk away from this.

Those were some pretty serious allegations and maybe it’s just me, but if someone tried to run me off the road and possibly kill me I wouldn’t just walk away.

I look forward to you keeping us updated about the lawsuit against Misha and Courtney. A lot was written previously that was pretty damning in regards to the folks bringing the lawsuit so I eagerly awit to hear about what is said under oath.

    Thanks again.

I see there is a hearing scheduled for August 19th regarding the lawsuit against Misha and Courtney. Another hearing is scheduled for September 9th and yet another one scheduled for September 16th. Will you be providing coverage of this?

You were all over this months ago and I certainly hope that you will cover it with the same zeal that you did previously. I know how much the “truth” means to you and I am sure that you want your readers to hear all the “facts” and not just be fed one sided propaganda.

I look forward to your coverage.

When there is something to report I will do so. There is no hearing scheduled for today, it was rescheduled for 9/04. That hearing is a cross complaint filed by Misha and Courtney. The next hearing after that is scheduled on 9/16. That one will be to strike the complaint, also filed by Misha and Courtney.
