More Hoa-Mail
Hoa Van Tran dropped another piece of mail in the First Supes District on Tuesday.
What is up with First District Supe Candidates and proof-reading their mail pieces? Check out the spelling errors on page 4 in the “Safer Schools” section?
Why is it Hoa does not understand that the Board of Supes has nothing to do with perscription drugs? And on Page 3, what does he mean by “He is one of YOU!”?Â

Not true. The Board of Supervisors oversees the contract with Cal-OPTIMA, which does affect people’s access to prescription drugs and the way they pay for them.
Not a lot. Not as much as, say, state and federal lawmakers. But still, it’s not “nothing”.

At a minimum, the mailer is misleading. However, below is the link to the CalOptima benefits service called One Care. It looks like we already have wat he is talking about.

now let’s not lump all the candidates into the same HORRIBLE spelling category. Janet Nguyen has passed all her spelling tests to this point.

Right there on page 1: What does it mean to “protect FOR your family”?
Didn’t even need to go to page 3 (”passes … and become …”) or your page 4.
I hardly spell check or proof read my blog. Cuz it’s online and can be fixed after publication. Kekek. And there’s just one of me. But a political mailer?

Thanks for pointing that out. I put this up late last night, and I just knew I had left something important out. I make spelling erros here as well, but I’m not spending thousands of dollars to print up and mail what I write.
