Cindy McCain: Recipe Plagiarist

HT to Wonkette.com

For every Democratic presidential candidate’s flap, comes an equal flap from the McCain camp.  Senator Barack Obama lifted portions of his friend Duvall Patrick’s speech (Patrick being the Governor of Massachusetts) and his wife Michelle was heavily criticized for comments she made about how her husband’s campaign equated to her sense of national pride.

Now we come to Cindy McCain, wife of Senator John McCain; the Republican nominee.  Mrs. McCain has posted several recipies on the McCain website claiming them as her own.  The recipes themselves are lifted word for word from the Food Network and TV chef Rachel Ray.

Taking someone else’s work and claiming it as your own, without attribution or credit, is plagiarism.  It will get kids kicked out of high school here.  It damaged Joe Biden’s 1988 presidential bid.

But hey, it was only a few recipes right?  It’s not like she stole prescription medicine or anything?
