Yoo’s Torture Memo: Executive Authority is Absolute

A while back, we were able to get State Rep. Chuck DeVore to admit he saw nothing wrong with the US using waterboarding as a form of interrogation even though this country prosecuted Japanese officers for waterboarding American POWs.

Last night’s Keith Olbermann program examined a torture memo written by Justice Department lawyer John Yoo. It’s pretty damning stuff. Is this the sort of thing that Americans really want?

Too bad he did not talk about how this memo suggest it would be okay to crush a child’s testicles in front of his parents, guess he had to water it down. However this is old news to those of us who do not rely on the propaganda machine mainstream media.

Time to impeach both Cheney and Bush and put the whole administration and members of congress who went along with this, yea they knew, on trial for war crimes

Like his father before him with Clarence Thomas, W manages to surround himself with the most right-wing of minority lawyers….
